Luliconazole

Pronounced

"LOO-li-KON-a-zole"

Uses

Luliconazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. Luliconazole is an azole antifungal that works by preventing the growth of the fungus.

How to Use This Medication

Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start using luliconazole and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

This medication is for use on the skin only.

Wash and dry your hands before applying the medication, then clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin film of the medication to the affected area and some of the surrounding skin and gently rub in as directed by your doctor, usually once a day. The length of treatment depends on the type of infection being treated. Do not apply this more often than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, and your risk of side effects will increase.

After applying the medication, wash your hands. Do not cover, bandage, or wrap the area unless directed to do so by your doctor.

Do not apply this medication in the eyes, mouth, or vagina.

Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day.

Continue to use this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished, even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medication too early may result in a return of the infection.

Tell your doctor if your condition lasts or gets worse.
