Buttermilk French Toast
Buttermilk adds another layer of luxury to this classic breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk
- 1 Tbs honey
- 12 slices day-old bread of your choice
Directions
- Preheat skillet. Add enough olive oil to coat.
- Whisk together all ingredients. Dip bread and coat completely in mixture.
- Cook on each side until golden brown. Cook on medium to medium-low heat. Be careful not to burn. Try not to flip the toast more than once.
- Serve immediately.
