French Toast
Try breads with seeds and nuts or cinnamon swirl bread as taste-tastic options.
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs olive oil
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or half and half, or cream)
- 1 Tbs honey
- 12 slices day-old bread of your choice
Directions
- Preheat skillet. Add enough olive oil to coat. Whisk together all ingredients. Dip bread and coat completely in mixture.
- Cook on each side until golden brown. Cook on medium to medium-low heat. Be careful not to burn. Try not to flip the toast more than once.
- Serve immediately. You can change the flavor of the recipe by changing the type of bread you use.
