Old-Fashioned Movie Theater Popcorn
Made with coconut oil, just like real movie theater popcorn.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs coconut oil (or enough to coat bottom of saucepan)
- Popping corn (enough for single layer in saucepan)
- 1 pinch salt, or to taste
- Melted butter (optional)
Directions
- Add coconut oil to saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat and add popcorn. Pop until you can count 2 seconds in between popping corns.
- Remove from heat, still covered, and let the corn continue to pop until it stops—about 2 minutes.
- Top with salt and melted butter, if desired.
