Pomegranate Jelly
With just four ingredients, making jelly at home has never been easier. Spread on toasted, buttered baguette slices and serve with tea.
Ingredients
- 4 cups pomegranate juice
- 3 Tbs lemon juice
- 7 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 bottle liquid pectin
Directions
- Mix the pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and sugar together in a large saucepan.
- Bring it to a boil over high heat, and add the liquid pectin at once, stirring constantly.
- Bring it to a full, rolling boil and boil hard for exactly 1/2 minute.
- Remove from heat, skim, and pour into hot, sterilized jars; seal. If jelly glasses are used, paraffin the hot jelly at once.
