Rooster's Beak Pico de Gallo
According to some, this classic salsa gets its name from how it used to be eaten—with two fingers, like a pecking rooster.
Ingredients
- 4 ripe tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 sweet onion, chopped
- 2 Tbs fresh cilantro, chopped finely
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap.
- Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
