Spiced Pecans
Stovetop pecans that taste fabulous on top of any salad!
Ingredients
- 2 cups pecans
- 3 Tbs unsalted butter
- 3 Tbs brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Add butter to a large skillet over medium-high heat and allow to melt.
- Add pecans and coat with butter. Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds or so.
- Stir in brown sugar, salt, cayenne pepper, and cinnamon.
- Stir continuously for about 2 more minutes. Watch carefully, and when the pecans just start to smell toasty, pour out of pan into bowl to cool.
