Swiss Chard
Flavorful greens prepared with just five ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch Swiss chard
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 large clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- Kosher salt to taste
Directions
- Wash greens well and cut off and discard excess stems. Preheat skillet and add olive oil.
- Add garlic and sauté until lightly browned and fragrant. Cut up greens and add to the skillet. Add salt and water.
- Turn heat to high and place lid on pan. Cook for 5 minutes, covered, and then stir greens around and cook for another 5 minutes, covered. Remove lid and check for to see if they're done. If needed, continue to cook until tender.
