Examples include azole antifungals (such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, voriconazole), macrolide antibiotics (such as clarithromycin), HIV protease inhibitors (such as atazanavir, nelfinavir, indinavir), rifamycins (such as rifampin, rifabutin), drugs to treat seizures (such as phenytoin, carbamazepine, phenobarbital), nefazodone, ritonavir, St. John's wort, telithromycin, among others.
This medication can slow down the removal of other medications from your body, which may affect how they work. An example of an affected drug is dofetilide, among others.
